College Services Coordinator

Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime College Services Coordinator in the Office of Student Affairs. Under the supervision of the Director of College Services, of the Technical College System of Georgia, the position is responsible for managing and processing day-to-day operational functions under the College Services group. In collaboration with the technical colleges, this position will be responsible for one or more services including data load, Pell and Loan Processing/Reconciliation, and banner system setup.  

The position is open to all applicants that meet the minimum qualifications below.  This is a hybrid position with occasional time at System Office, 1800 Century Place, NE, Atlanta, GA 30345.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage dataload functions for multiple colleges, from ISIR loading to awarding of aid.
  • Assist with new year Banner setup for multiple college simultaneously.
  • Ability to resolve file rejects and/or COD disbursement issues in a timely manner.
  • Complete Pell and Direct Loan Reconciliations for multiple colleges on schedule and accurately.
  • Other student affairs related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate’s degree in a related field *and* three years of work-related experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  •  5 years of Banner financial aid processing experience.
  • Ability to write population selections in Banner.
  • Ability to reconfigure RORRULE in Banner with SQL statements.
  • 3 years of new year Banner setup experience
  • 2 years of experience developing algorithmic rules in Banner
  • 2 years of experience processing Pell or loan files and reconciliations using Banner
  • 5 years of experience managing the dataload in Banner
  • Experience with TDClient
  • Experience with Enterprise Scheduler by ISE

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels at the college and the system office
  • Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents and assist in evaluating their impact on policy and procedures
